Dayl R Matthias

Matthias, Dayl R. Lodi – Dayl R. Matthias, age 55 passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Agrace HospiceCare, Inc. He was born on February 15, 1960, the son of the late Richard and Karen Prellwitz. Dayl drove truck for J & R Schugel  Trucking until his illness. He had a variety of interests including motorcycles and especially driving truck, but enjoyed most, the time he was able to spend with his family. Survivors include his two sons, Casey (Missy) and Shawn (Katie) Prellwitz; 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Sheldon and a grandson Caleb. A celebration of Dayl's life will be held at the HAMRE-GUNDERSON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE CENTER, 157 S. Main St. on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 from 2pm until 4pm.
