Florence Ludmila Linden

Linden, Florence "Flo" MADISON-Florence "Flo" Linden, age 85, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on Sept. 12, 1929, in Bethlehem, Pa., the daughter of Emil and Hermina Mitman. She married Henry Linden on Nov. 27, 1952, at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. Flo was a crossing guard in Madison for 35 years until her retirement in 1991. She enjoyed baking, cooking, traveling, playing cards and going for walks with her friends. Flo also enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all of them. Flo is survived by her children, James (Kathy) Linden of Bradford Pa., Dave (Terrie) Linden of Verona, Ann (Mike) Frederickson of Madison and John (Bonnie) Linden of Finlayson, Minn.; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and two more on the way; brothers, Emil and Frank Mitman; sister, Helen Dominguez; sister-in-law, Joan Mitman; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Edward Mitman; and sisters-in-law, Arlene Mitman and Betty Mitman. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Rd., Madison, at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., on Monday, July 27, 2015, and at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Tuesday.
