Sonia Rachael Blom

Blom, Sonia R. MONDOVI/MADISON-Sonia R. Blom, age 76, of Madison, entered eternal life surrounded by family on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on Dec. 24, 1938, in Osseo, the daughter of Guy and Viola (Kniseley) Stellingwerf. She married Donald Blom on March 19, 1960, in LaCrosse at Trinity Lutheran Church. Sonia loved having her family and friends around her and cooking a meal for all that came over. She traveled east to west and Canada to the Caribbean to play the slots. Sonia also enjoyed spending time and relaxing up at the family cabin. She was known to her family and friends as the M&M's lady, because of her collection of M&M's that were all over her house. Sonia is survived by her husband of 55 years, Don; children, Guy W. Blom, Don H. (Sharon) Blom Jr., Lisa A. Potts (Nick Weiss) and Michael A. Blom; thirteen grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Darrell (Judy) Stellingwerf; brother-in-law, Glenn Vold; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Donna Vold. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at noon, on Monday, July 20, 2015, with Pastor Ken Smith presiding. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
