I loved as I got to watch the romance take place between Sara and John. I love how it was so unexpected, but God had a plan for them. I love how she memorialized their lives with photos. How she loved her kids and John and it showed in those photos. I will miss her creativeness and her loving kind and gentle spirit. Till we meet again, sweet Sara, love and peace.

This sounds silly, but my memories of Sara are when she was a little girl on Halloween nights. Our daughter was an only child at the time and was Sara's cousin. Rose was three years younger than Sara and Sara jumped right in there and took on the job as Rose's "sister". They spent many Halloweens and other occasions together, just doing normal kid stuff. I can remember one day my husband Rick was swinging Sara, Rose and a couple of Sara's siblings on a tire swing. As the swing went higher and higher, it finally gave way and flew high through the air, finally banging down hard on the ground. So as Rick and I watched in stunned amazement, Sara and the others crawled out of the tire, laughing hysterically, while we were in our parental "calm down" mode, being happy nobody was hurt. It was all just life and the normal things you do, but I think that's what Sara was all about as an adult, just bringing her family the normal happy times we like to reflect on. I want those memories to sustain her kids and husband!

What a beautiful legacy Sara leaves in her children. I know she was an amazing mother who loved her family deeply. I remember her as a cute, sweet, and smart young girl in Commerce. I'm sure it was a joyous reunion with her dad, Chris and Jolene Tarpley .when she left this earth for her Heavenly home. May you her family feel God's loving arms around you in the coming days and months and cherish your precious memories of a mother, wife, daughter, sister and aunt gone much too soon.
