Phyllis Kathryn Hubert

Hubert, Phyllis K. OREGON-Phyllis K. Hubert, age 85, of Oregon, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born on July 6, 1929, in Tomah, the daughter of Ray and Bessie (McKane) Shutter. Phyllis married Arlan Hubert on Nov. 4, 1950, in Tomah. The couple made their home in Sheboygan and Horicon prior to coming to Oregon in 1965. Phyllis and Arlan owned and operated Hubert Trailer Sales, celebrating 50 years this year. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Phyllis loved to camp and travel with Arlan. They were travelers on the Concord on one of their trips. Phyllis especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Phyllis is survived by her son, Scott of Fitchburg; four grandchildren, Christopher (Natasha), Jennifer, Matthew (Kelly) and Nick; six great-grandchildren, KeiraLyn, Addison, KayLeigh, Isaac, Kaden and Sienna; daughter-in-law, Lynette; sister-in-law, Esther Shutter; and brother-in-law, John Lombaris. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arlan; son, Steven; and siblings, Charles, Helen, Norma, Reba and Eva. Funeral services will be held at ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 625 E. Netherwood St., Oregon, at 11 a.m., on Monday, June 29, 2015, with the Rev. Paul Markquart presiding. A luncheon will follow. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held at the church from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., on Sunday, June 28, 2015, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
