Gulrud, Curtis M. "Curt" MADISON-Curtis M. "Curt" Gulrud, age 88, of Madison, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015, at his home. He was born on Feb. 2, 1927, in Madison, the son of Carl and Minnie (Skaim) Gulrud. He married Evelyn Pirus on June 12, 1953, in Medford. Curt served his country in the U.S. Army as a military policeman. He worked at International Multifoods for 35 years until his retirement. Curt was an avid Packers and Badgers fan and enjoyed attending as many games as he could. He enjoyed spending time with his family; especially his children and grandchildren. Curt will be missed by them all. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; children, Sandra (Ron) Bero and Brenda (Tom) Schneske; grandchildren, Eric Bero, Kristin Hamielec, Danielle Schneske, Paul Schneske and Andy Schneske; brothers, Dale (Virginia) Gulrud and Ordell (Pat) Gulrud; and sisters, Marsha (DuWayne) Zimmermann and Ann (Ed) Damon. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Audrin, Roger and Spencer Gulrud. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 3 p.m., on Monday, July 13, 2015. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
