Although I didn't see you often, Gil and Carol, you were in my thoughts almost every day. I jogged to his polka band just this week using the CD. Gil was one of the great tuba players, a college house and band mate, and forever a really nice guy and a long distance friend.. I will miss you Gil. My condolences to you, Carol, and all of your family. I guess the Lord needed a tuba player. I want to share my love to all of you. Bob Graham

Here is a "hail & farewell " to a High School classmate, and friend to everyone he knew. He left the world in a better place and he will be missed. May God bring peace to his entire family as they mourn his departure.

It just isn't fair that someone so young and vibrant as Gil is taken away from us so soon. Early in our years at Middleton Grade School he lived right across the street from us on Bristol Street in the home his dad built and later sold to Kathy Kubista's family. Blessed Be The Memory of Gilman Voss.

Our deepest sympathy to the Voss family and friends. Gil played with Buttons & Banjo for our 50th anniversary. We always enjoyed his music and his jokes. He will be greatly missed.

We didn't know Gil. But we know his brother Paul. And we know how highly Paul spoke of Gil and how much Paul loved him. May he rest in peace. Gayle and Dick Ellis
