Mary, everything I write seems so trite. I just keep going back to the beginning: the Brat Haus, the parties at 20 S. Broom, the 50s parties, the laughter and friendship. I can't know your pain, but I am here if you need anything at all. Jim was such kind man and the hole he leaves must be huge. You are in my thoughts and my heart.

Mary and Family, I am so very sorry for your loss. As you know, Jim was like a brother to me: a playmate growing up, a classmate in grade and high school, a roommate in college. We could fill a book with all of the good, and sometimes, difficult times we all shared. I am comforted to know Jim is at peace now and with his Maker. Tom Paul.

Mary, We were saddened to hear about Jim's passing. We can't even express how our hearts ache for you. Jim was a special friend and we will always cherish the memories of our friendship. He was a member of our Brathaus and Pickney St. brotherhood. The Badger games, our weddings, are all special and memorable times in our lives. We will miss him deeply. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. If there is anything we can do to help, please let us know. Bob and Mary Nilles
