Olley, Sharon R.
MADISON-Sharon R. Olley, age 81, of Madison, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2015, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on Jan. 15, 1934, in Racine, the daughter of Paul and Constance (Yunkes) Paulson. She married Gerald "Jerry" Olley on Dec. 26, 1953, in Racine and spent the next 62 years together. Sharon enjoyed her 17 years of work at MATC. She loved her patio, flowers and nature. Sharon's passion for travel has been passed on to her children and grandchildren. The beaches and sun of Florida brought much happiness. Her greatest joys were her husband, children, grandchildren, and her lifelong friends. Sharon is survived by her husband, Jerry; daughters, Barbara (Glenn) Mason, Ann Olley, and Sue (Scott) White; grandchildren, Christie (Michael) Bauer, Michael Mason, Matthew Mason, Daniel O'Brien, Madison White, and Jacob White; great-grandchildren, Laura Bauer and Ryan Bauer; and sister, Carol Ann Huff. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Paul Olley; and brother-in-law, John Huff. A celebration of life will be held at OLBRICH GARDENS, 3330 Atwood Ave, Madison, from 2 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. in the Atrium, on Wednesday, July 8, 2015. A private burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park at a later date. Memorials may be made to Olbrich Gardens, Agrace HospiceCare, and Pinney Branch Library building fund.
