I met Jeff through a mutual friend in the 90's when we were both in the Mannheim Heidelberg area. My first impression was that he was such a funny person. In time, that first impression deepened to see the kind and gentle man that he was. He was a wonderful host! His waffles for brunch were legendary. When he visited, he always brought a long a box of my favorite Belgian chocolates. He and his partner, Luc, were so much fun to be around!

Wow...Jeff you welcomed me to Wiesbaden, Germany 8 years ago with a hearty smile & a warm heart! You helped me to make the transition to Europe a fun one. You introduced me to Rüdesheim--which I still love to this day. It's the first place I take everyone who comes to visit me. You cooked dinner for me and we shared recipes! I thank God for our paths crossing, the pleasure of working with you and for your unselfish giving spirit. Rest in peace my friend.
