I will always fondly remember Grace via another passion of hers: Music. Grace loved to play the piano. When her apartment could not host her piano, she was extremely generous to have her piano be passed on to others, and specifically, my children. It provided them the opportunity to learn to play and experience that same love of music she had. Today, there isn't a day that goes by that I pass the piano in our home and not think of the many years of happiness it brought to Grace, and gift of music it provided my children. This simple gift of hers has enable them to find their own voice in music. The piano will always remind me of her. The world is a richer place, thanks to Grace. She will be seen and remembered in her daughter, in her grandson - both of whom I consider close friends - and in her great grandchildren as well her whole family. It was an honor to have known Grace, and she will be missed.
