I new Ken growing up, living 3 houses away. Although we were not in the same graduating class we were always friendly. Charlene will get a kick out of this, Ruth would pay me 10cents a day to make her lunch when she was in elementary school. It was always in coins from tips she made waitress,, I think that was my first job. It funny how these childhood memories come back. I see Ken was at Agrace as was my Mom was last August. I can't say enough about the wonderful care from those nurses at such a difficult time .Agrace provided such a peaceful place for one to pass .My sincere condolences to you and Charlene. It sounded like you and Ken had a wonderful life with lots of great memories. Hold on to those memories. Sincerely Charlotte Abrahams Norris

Cyndi - My sincere condolences on the passing of your beloved husband, Ken. We go thru our lives thinking someone will be with us forever and then, before we know it, they are gone from our presence in the blink of an eye. You and Ken made such wonderful memories together and enjoyed a full life of love and happiness and those are the memories that will sustain you as the days come and go. You are in my thoughts. Barbara Beck (I worked with you for many years at DNR)

MATC Accounting class of 1965. Ken was a wonderful classmate. I remember him working at Rennebohm's. Steve and I were married June,1970. Steve passed away Feb 2012. I often wondered what Ken and you were doing. Sounds like you loved to travel and have many memories nothing can take away. Nothing can prepare you for the loss you feel. May love of God, family and friends give you the strength to face each day ahead. You have my support and sympathy. Sue Lawrence

Orv and Ruth, Ken's parents, were our next door neighbors, and in so many different ways helped to make us feel welcome in the neighborhood. After Orv passed away, Ruth would mention how much her family and especially Ken helped her to enjoy life to the fullest while staying in her own home. May all the shared great memories be a comfort to Cyndi in her loss.
