Rodenschmit, Phillip R. Sr.,
WAUNAKEE/MIDDLETON-Phillip R. Rodenschmit Sr., age 81, died on Thursday, May 28, 2015, doing what he loved, riding his motorcycle on a beautiful sunny day. He was born on February 7, 1934, the son of Roman and Ruth Rodenschmit. Phil joined the 82nd Airborne/Paratroopers Division at Fort Bragg, NC on March 3, 1953. He spent his career as an HVAC Engineer in the Madison area for over 40 years. Phil is survived by his brother, Mike (Jane) Rodenschmit; four children, Kim (Tim) Hameister of Waunakee, Phillip Rodenschmit Jr. of Madison, Teresa (Mike) Lankey of Stoughton and Eric Rodenschmit of Madison; his grandchildren, Coley, Sammy, Kari, Kyler and Tianna; and other relatives and friends. Phil shared many a ride and Sunday breakfasts with his good friends, Dick and Joe, and his cousin Tom, who was his best friend throughout his life. Oh the stories they could tell!
