The volunteers, flight team and board of Badger Honor Flight mourn the loss of their hero, Richard Emden. We are thankful for his military service and proud to have served him on his trip to Washington, D.C. in September 2013.

Bruce, Dennis and Jill, I am so sorry to hear of your fathers passing. I am so thankful we were able to chat last month. He was a wonderful husband, father and neighbor. He had the best lawn in the neighborhood and was always willing to help out my parents when something needed fixing. Marconi Street will not be the same, but I am sure they are all together again.
