Dalsoren, Lawrence R. "Hush" SUN PRAIRIE – Lawrence R. "Hush" Dalsoren, age 76, of Sun Prairie, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 31, 2015, at his home. He was born on Oct. 25, 1938, in Oregon, the son of Johan and Eleanor (Stone) Dalsoren. Larry married Susan Knapp on April 5, 1961, and had six children together. Larry will be remembered for his great sense of humor. He enjoyed camping with his family, watching NASCAR races and Sunday nights at Angell Park watching midget races with his kids. Larry worked for NAPA in Sun Prairie for 26 years. Larry is survived by his six children, Cheryl (Richard Scott) Kennedy, Theresa (Kerry) Peterson, Larry (Theresa Love) Dalsoren Jr., Shelly Pozega , James Dalsoren and Dawn (Kevin) Birkholz; "adopted " daughter, Janet Holte; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Sharon (Richard) Daniels; and two nieces, other relatives and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, George Kennedy; and his former wife, Susan. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 12 noon, on Monday, June 8, 2015. A private inurnment will be held at Highland Memory Gardens at a later date. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
