Richard Leo Hacker

MADISON/MINOCQUA – Richard L. Hacker, age 89, of Madison/ Minocqua, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Claire Bridge of Sun Prairie under Agrace HospiceCare. He was born on Oct. 23, 1925, in Lyndon Station, the son of Frank and Marie Hacker. Dick married Viola Kuhlman on Dec. 12, 1959. He loved spending his time in the Northwoods and gardening. Dick is survived by three children, Gary Weber, Rick (Marsha) Hacker and Marie (Ray) Fellows, all of Madison; five grandchildren; and sisters, Joyce Allford of Atlas, Mich., and Marian "Bops" Ennis of Lake Delton. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Viola; parents; brothers, Frank and Byron "Buck"; and sister, Shirley. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at Noon, on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare.
