Flom, Duane E. MADISON-Duane E. Flom, age 60, of Madison passed away on Monday, May 11, 2015 at William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital. He was born on Aug. 1, 1954, in Madison, the son of Kenneth and Donna (Bell) Flom. Duane married Laurie Schroud in 1997, in Madison. He was in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1974 - 1978. Duane was a hardworking family man who loved to fish and hunt. Duane is survived by his wife, Laurie; children, Matthew, Michael and Kimberly; mother, Donna; six sisters; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Julie Chapple; and grandparents. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 4 p.m., on Friday, May 15, 2015. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com. Thoughts and prayers to his family. Perfect Picture! I can see him like this with a smile and a laugh! Duane was a wonderful guy! He made work enjoyable and loved to talk with him. I think our two most favorite things to talk about were The Walking Dead and Justified! Certainly will miss his thoughts on the new Fear the Walking Dead! Angela Ridlon

So sorry to hear this! Duane was a special uncle to me for many, many years. I have so many fond memories at the cabin, on the boat, fishing, breakfast at Bev's restaurant, going to work with him and delivering feed to the zoo. Rest in Peace, Uncle Duane.
