Schreiber, Deborah
OREGON-Deborah G. Schreiber, age 62, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Deborah is survived by her mother, Doretta Umnuhs; brother, Lee Umnuhs; sons, Jake (Carolyn) Schreiber, Aaron (Darii) Schreiber and Noah Schreiber; grandsons, Dylan and Hudson; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Umnuhs. A Memorial Service celebrating Deborah's life will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL HOME, 1150 Park St., Oregon, at 11 a.m., on Thursday, May 7, 2015, with the Rev. Paul Marquart presiding. A time of gathering will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

I am very sorry for your loss! I am a double cousin of yours (Schmidt & Umnuhs.) There is not much I can say, as I recently lost my mother too. Just know that there are so many people out there that are praying for your peace and comfort!

When I remember Deb it is always with an element of fun, deep appreciation of horses, seeing her competitive in the horse show ring by being a very good rider, and a very deep love and respect for her parents, Doretta and Leroy and a love for her 3 sons where she was involved with their development. She was truly a friend and an individual who I will always carry good memories about.

I have a lot of good memories of Deb. I went with her to pick up her new ram in Minnesota. Her young boys christened my new truck on the way to the Des Moines horse show. We had a lot of good times and I will never forget her.

Deb was a great lady. I enjoyed visiting with her and enjoyed talking about her fur babies. She is a kind loving woman and I am so sad that she is gone. May you rest in peace Deb. Ill check up on your fur babies for you!!! I miss you already!! Rest in Peace!!!!
