JIRAN, FRANK J.
LODI-Frank Jiran passed away at home in Lodi on Saturday, April 4, 2015 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Cook County, IL to James M. and Emily (Piner) Jiran on October 28, 1934.
Frank is survived by sisters, Evelyn and Delores; brother, Jimmie; children, Mark (Joyce) Jiran, Carrie (Mike) Joseph, Melissa Madigan, Roxanne Ludeman, Bonita Jiran and Lon (Teri) Jiran; 20 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and his companions, Fritzy and Joe. Frank will be remembered as an avid card player, fisherman, NASCAR fan, bowler, and ball player who didn’t like to lose. This spirit was evident up til the end, as well as his generous nature to help others.
A celebration of Frank’s life will be held at a later date.
