Huseby, Jerlyn "Jeri"
MADISON-Jerlyn "Jeri" Huseby, passed away following a lengthy illness on Wednesday, April 15, 2015. She was born on April 11, 1944, and was adopted as an infant by Gerald "Bud" and Inger (Torkelson) Kopelke. Jeri was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. She graduated from Tomahawk High School in 1963. Jeri was united in marriage with Donald Huseby on Oct. 31, 1964. She worked part-time at East Towne Mall at a variety of stores, yet had her fondest memories working for Lane Bryant. Jeri enjoyed collecting Fenton Art Glass and was a fan of NCAA Basketball, especially of the Wisconsin Badgers and Duke Blue Devils. Jeri is survived by her husband, Don; son, Jim Huseby of Madison; daughter, Traci (Jeff) Breit of Fond du Lac; grandchildren, Thomas and Madeline Breit; brother-in-law, Richard (Janice) Huseby, their children Eric, Julie and Ryan and their families; many cousins; and best friend, Janet Palmer, of Madison. She was preceded in death by her parents; and parents-in-law. Funeral services will be held at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1904 Winnebago St, Madison, at 11 a.m., on Monday, April 20, 2015, with the Rev. Susan Schneider presiding. Burial will be held at the Burke Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Agrace HospiceCare or a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank Dr. Marty Mozena and the staff at UW Health-East Towne Clinic, Meriter Hospital, Oak Park Place and Agrace HospiceCare for their care in the last years of her life.
