Obituary

Randall, Andrew S. McFARLAND–Andrew S. Randall, age 31, of McFarland, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015. He was born on Dec. 14, 1983, in Madison, the son of Steve and Stacy (Widen) Randall. Andrew attended and graduated from McFarland High School in 2002 and later attended Madison Area Technical College. He was the production manager for Widen Enterprises. Andrew enjoyed being up north at the family cottage, hunting, fishing, tinkering and fixing things as he was very mechanical. He adored his dog, Cecil whom he endearingly referred to as “Chuck”. Andrew loved helping and caring for his family. He was truly a caregiver and would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need. Andrew especially loved his family and the time spent with them was what he found most enjoyable in life. Andrew is survived by his parents, Steve and Stacy of Cottage Grove; brother, Justin (Julie “Ginger”) of Verona; sister, Lindsey (Frank Anderson) Randall and God daughter, Ivy Lee Anderson all of Valrico, Fla.; fraternal grandmother, Dorothy Krueger of Madison; uncle, Reed(Leanne) Widen and their children, Jenna and Jesse; cousins, Nicki, Ben, and Anna Widen; uncle, Tyler (Sue) Widen and their children, Wyatt and Whitney, uncle Price (Pam) Widen; aunt, Teresa (Jeff) Kerznar and their children, Lucas(Beth) Kerznar, Nathan Kerznar, Andrew Kerznar and Laura(Josh) Pradine and their children, Peyton, Wade, Jackson, Finn, Beau, Charley, Kya, Koye, Kobey, Bryce, Abigail, Madeline, and Emily; along with numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mark and Betty Widen; fraternal grandfather, Tracy Randall; uncle, Stewart Widen; cousin, Tricia Kerznar; and step-grandfather, Jerry Krueger. Funeral services will be held at MESSIAH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5202 Cottage Grove Road, Madison, at 5 p.m., on Thursday, April 16, 2015, with the Rev. Jeff Vanden Heuvel presiding. A private interment will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held at the church from 2 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to establish an education fund for his God daughter, Ivy. The family wishes to thank Robby, Megan, Dave and Bonnie for their love, care and support, as well as all of Andrew’s friends and teammates at Widen Enterprises. When I think of Andrew, it puts a smile on my face. He was such a genuinely nice and seriously funny guy. Although I didn't get to see much after high school, it was always lots of laughs when we did all get together. I'm so very sorry about this loss. My thoughts are with the Randalls and with all of Andrew's many friends. He was so very loved by so many, and the world has lost a caring, kind and wonderful man. RIP Drewski. -Kim Ziesemer
