Lucille Ace

Ace, Lucille OREGON-Lucille Ace, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at Oregon Manor. She was born on Jan. 23, 1923, the daughter of Harry and Maurine Butts. She married William Ace in 1941. Lucille attended both elementary and high school in Belleville, followed by Monroe Teacher’s College. For many years she was employed by the State of Wisconsin. Lucille was a member of United Methodist Church in Oregon. She spent her last years at Oregon Manor. Lucille is survived by her son, William (Barb) of Oregon, sister, Dorothy Sarow of Evansville; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; son, Robert; two brothers; two sisters; two brothers-in-law; and five sisters-in-law. A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL HOME, 1150 Park St., Oregon, at 4 p.m., on Sunday, March 15, 2015, with the Rev. Robert Groth presiding. A private burial will be held at Prairie Mound Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday.
