Dear Jan and Family, My heartfelt condolences. Chuck was a one-of-a-kind friend and co-worker. I so enjoyed his calls to dispatch at STI for 13 years... always a gentleman, always patient, yet ready to go when it was time to hit the road. It was a pleasure to work for him as his dispatcher. I relied on him, knew he would handle it, and his work was exceptional. I loved his sense of humor and laugh. It would have been great to visit Oregon to be with you all prior to today, yet I delayed too long. I miss him more than I can say. I had hoped to attend your gathering in his honor, but could not find a replacement for my 6am shift today. Know that my thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
