My name is Fran and my family lived nearby on Joylynne Drive. My mom, Margaret Koster was a friend of Cecy's and spoke fondly of her. Cecy took care of me when I was very little--I was too little to recall details, but I do remember enjoying times at her house and always felt comfortable in her care. I have always thought she had such a cool name: "Cecy Marks". My condolences to you.

My family and yours were friends for many years. I never knew Herman ("Red"), who I believe worked with my grandmother, Emilie Karlen, in her Swiss bakery in Monroe in the 1920s-30s. I came to know Frances and Bobby and Cecy as I was growing up in the 1950s, and I remember all three of them fondly. Even after Frances moved to Baraboo, she would come to visit us in Monroe. I really enjoyed playing canasta with her and my grandmother. My condolences to you on Cecy's passing.

How sad to lose a loved one no matter the age. We know that your dear one was loved and will be missed. There is one thing that will bring the greatest comfort to you. God has promised mankind this. "Death will be brought to nothing", according to 1Corinthians 15:26. God has made arrangements to remove sickness and death away from all. (Revelation 21:4-5) Most importantly God does not lie. (Titus 1:2) Any of your loved ones who have died can live again. (John 11:25) Rest assure God has the power to do all things. More comforting information can be found at jw.org

She always had a smile on her face! And I always loved how she would give Garbo (Linda) a hard time. She put up with a lot from us during our high school days. Now she can give Garbo a hard time again. Peace.

So sad to hear of Cecy's passing. She provided child care for our baby daughter and was such a kind and loving person. The highlight of the day was picking up our daughter and having some time to chat with Cecy and Chuck. We still have a lovely little cross stitch card she made. Out thoughts are with you.
