I met Pat about 19 or so years ago when I ran into her at auctions. At first I was buying some everyday items for college kids and myself and then inevitably started collecting. At that point Pat suggested I try to sell antiques in Columbus and have been doing so since 1998. During this time Pat and I would go on some road runs to auctions and always come home with the vehicle bursting and we would be laughing like school girls. We would usually end up stopping somewhere to eat. I would also run into Pat at estate sales and have great times there as well. I was looking around my home yesterday and realized that for a great number of the things I have bought for myself, Pat was there when I bought many of them. And while I am sad right now and will miss her, I know that I will be able to look at them and it will help me remember the fun I had with Pat. I thank you Pat and I as well as many decrepit dogs will miss you. And I am sure that in heaven you will always be able to find your number and get into the best estate sales of all.

We met Pat when we started selling at the Waterloo Antiques Mall a few years ago. She had more energy and drive than the average person. She was always first in line at the estate sales, and if she wasn't, we knew she was first in line at a better one someplace else. At the Knights of Columbus Sale in Verona, we were stationed next to her booth. Customers always browsed her booth a little longer because she had a story to tell and knowledge to share. Pat, you'll be missed.

As a fellow antique r, I have always admired Pat's keen eye for color and seeing beyond the dirt and grime in the merchandise she would buy. I knew I could always count on her being first in line and keeping the "order" at estate sales. She was fun to talk to and had a passion for the business. I missed her today and all future sales. She will always be remembered.
