Mickelson, Helen MADISON-Helen Mickelson, age 85, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015. She was born on Jan. 19, 1930, the daughter of Harold and Mabel Mickelson. Helen loved the Special Olympics, M.A.R.C., and fishing. Helen is survived by three sisters; two brothers; 11 nephews and nieces; and 25 great-nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2015. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to M.A.R.C. or the Kennedy Special Olympics.
