Our family will always remember Marion for her birthday phone calls from Blessed Trinity Parish. It was a little tradition that we had with our daughters when it was their birthday we'd say "Guess who called and left you a birthday message" and they would ALWAYS say "Marion from church, right mom"? We'd replay the message so they could hear it. As the kids got older and off to college we would call and wish them a happy day and always let them know Marion from church also called to wish you a happy birthday. Marion and her sister Romell were such friendly, helpful library patrons when I worked there -- good memories of their visits. Patti

I remember Marion mostly from Bob and Cora's cottage on Lake Wisconsin. We were first cousins but at the time she seemed more like an aunt, as I am about to turn 63. Always enjoyed Bob and Cora's ability to bs and as I recall Marion had a little bit of that too. Perhaps it's an Eifler trait? Kind regards. Ron and Sue Eifler Oconomowoc
