SCHAMBUREK, BERNICE M. LODI- Bernice M. Schamburek, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Good Samaritan Society of Lodi, WI. She was born on September 26, 1934 in West Kewaunee, WI, the daughter of Victor and Adeline (Thor) Novak. Bernice was united in marriage in 1956 to Leroy Schamburek in West Kewaunee. Bernice had a deep faith in God. She loved to yodel, dress fashionably, listened to country music, travel and dance hop waltz. She had a beautiful smile. Bernice loved her family and will be greatly missed. Bernice is survived by her husband, Leroy; children, Bruce (Nancy) Schamburek, Cheryl (Tom) Anthony, Mark Schamburek, Renee (Rick) Tweed and Beth (Tim) Chadwick; eight grandchildren; one great granddaughter and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Novak. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bernard Novak. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI WALDO, 1121 N. 14th St., Manitowoc, WI 54220, at 11 a.m., on Saturday, March 7, 2015 with Father Dave Beaudry presiding. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. A private entombment will be at Calvary Catholic Mausoleum, Manitowoc, WI. Memorials may be made to Blessed Trinity Catholic Parish at St. Patrick’s Church, Lodi, WI or Good Samaritan Society of Lodi, WI.
