Please know we extend sincere sympathy to ALL the Orvick family in your loss. May your memories be many -- concentrate on all the wonderful times your family shared happy times together; your family was able to have more than one generation for throughout the lives of many offspring....even great-grandchildren. That is something to celebrate! We keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. Ann and Phil Dettwiler

I recall getting bailed hay from Dr. Orvick, with Sherman taking care of the matter back when he was doing that sort of thing. (I live about a mile west of Dr. Orvick's home.) Back when I was delivering meals for the Senior Center, I also delivered to Sherman and his wife. What fine "country folk! Keith N. Schoville

Have known him all my life!! Will miss him dearly. He was a gentle soul, kind, honest and good hearted man. His passing has left a void in my heart. Loved you Uncle Bob (as we called him), and I will see you again in heaven. My sincere sympathy to Aunt Lucile and the Orvick family. Love to all you guys!!! Susan (niece and goddaughter)

Sherman was a man I looked up too when I was a kid. He always had a clever way of fixing things. His patience & understanding of things was very unique. My heart goes out out to the whole family. Also to jimmy for all his care over the years. Very respectful. I will miss him very much & I still look up too him. Mike Behr & family.
