McAusland, Dennis Craig OCEANSIDE, CALIF.-Dennis Craig McAusland, age 59, died of natural causes, on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, in Oceanside, Calif. He was born on Sept. 11, 1955, at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C., the son of Edith McAusland and Douglas McAusland. His christening took place near his home in that area. As a young person, Dennis was commended for his writing skills. He loved endangered species of wildlife; and was an old movie, and jazz, blues and classic rock aficionado. Dennis is survived by his aunt, Phyllis (Allen) Turner of Montello; his uncle Phil McAusland of Madison; and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A committal service will be held at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK, 401 Femrite Drive, Monona, at 11 a.m., on Friday, May 1, 2015, with the Rev. Miriam Hull presiding.
