Fillbach, Virginia B.
MONONA/WAUZEKA–Virginia B. Fillbach, age 88, of Monona, formerly of Wauzeka, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2015, at her home. She was born on July 31, 1926, in Crawford County, Wis., the daughter of Walter and Erma (Sutton) Krachey. Virginia married Monte C. Fillbach on Aug. 23, 1948, in Wauzeka, Wis. She was a long time member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Wauzeka. Virginia enjoyed dancing, bowling and horseshoes. Virginia is survived by her four children, Connie (Dan) Steeger, Marcia (Roger) Moyes, Linda (Dan) Phetteplace and Richard (Kathy) Fillbach; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Loretta Burgus; and brothers, Bud, Paul and Larry Krachey. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; granddaughter, Nicole Fillbach; grandson, Jim Moyes; sisters, Eileen Mullikin and Dorothy Burgus; and brothers, Harold, Ken, Lyle and Raymond Krachey. A visitation will be held at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Road, Madison, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at SACRED HEART OF JESUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 711 East Main Street, Wauzeka, Wis., at 11 a.m., on Thursday, March 26, 2015, with Father Victor Feltes presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. Burial will be held at Wauzeka Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
