William Vega

Vega, William “Billy” MADISON-William “Billy” Vega, age 45, of Madison, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at home with his family by his side. He was born on March 4, 1970, in Filiales, Puerto Rico, the son of Blanca Rosa and William Vega. William will be remembered by his friends and family as a kind and caring man. He was an avid animal lover and opened his home and heart to many pets. William had a beautiful smile and one could always count on him to put a smile on their face. He often put others needs before his own, including serving his country in the U.S. Navy. William is survived by his partner, Jeffrey Allen; his mother, Blanca Rosa (Juan Marrero) Vega; father, William (Gladys) Vega; sisters, Lilly, Wanda, Isabel, Kuki and Ivette; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Santiago Garcia. A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 1 p.m., on Friday, March 27, 2015. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
