Slaughter, Richard “Bud”
MADISON–Richard “Bud” Slaughter, age 87, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. He was born on May 26, 1927, in Wauwatosa. He married Lucille Browne on April 4, 1953, in Freeport, Ill. Bud was a lifelong Madison area roofer. When he wasn’t at work, he enjoyed watching John Wayne movies and listening to Johnny Cash. Bud enjoyed finding a good deal at flea markets and garage sales. Bud is survived by his sons, Arthur Ostrander and Pat (Judy) Slaughter; daughter, Ricarda (Dean) Holmen; and grandchildren, Katie, Amanda, and Michelle. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille; daughter, Kitty; and grandson, James. Special thanks to Laura for her kindness and patience. “Hiya Hiya”. We have known bud for many years now. From plowing snow, to flee marketing across the isle at Jefferson, and attending the fireside with him and Lucille. Sorry for your loss.
