Randy James Fiscus

Fiscus, Randy J. MONONA–Randy J. Fiscus, age 51, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 13, 2015, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on May 10, 1963, in Madison, the son of James and Marcy (Corpian) Fiscus. Randy graduated from Oregon High School in 1982 where he was involved in hockey, track and football. He participated in an apprenticeship in plumbing while in high school and continued in the family business, Fitchburg Plumbing. Randy married Lisa McGoon on May 27, 1995, in Monona. He began racing midget cars at Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie in 1991, retiring in 2003. Randy’s true loves were family, friends, sports, karaoke, racing, boating, vacations, camping, the Packers, Badgers, Brewers, NASCAR and cartwheels. He is survived by his wife, Lisa; two daughters, Alissa (Ryan Whiting) and Amanda; his father, Jim; sister, Jean Asay; brother, Aaron (Elizabeth Jeffris) Fiscus; mother-in-law, Linda Stone; father-in-law, Dan McGoon; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marcy; and two fathers-in-law, Jeff Stone and Stan Hovey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5101 Schofield St., Monona, at 11 a.m., on Friday, March 20, 2015 with Father John Silva and Father Bart Timmerman concelebrating. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., on Thursday, March 19, 2015, and at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the mass on Friday.
