Hewitt, Marilyn J. (Hauden) MADISON – Marilyn J. (Hauden) Hewitt, age 81, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015. She was born on Jan. 30, 1934, in Madison, the daughter of Edward and Mildred (Scholl) Hauden. Marilyn graduated from Madison East High School in 1951. She married Donald C. Hewitt on April 18, 1953. Marilyn was an in-home day care provider, and worked at the Security State Bank and for the Department of Natural Resources. She was an avid collector of shoes and enjoyed occasional trips to the casino. Marilyn was a Packers and Badgers Fan and was a supporter of the Capitolaires Drum and Bugle Corps. She especially loved attending her grand kids and great-grand kids athletic activities. Marilyn is survived by her sons; Thomas M. (Carol Ann) Hewitt and John E. (Marie “Tina”); daughter, Jane M. Hewitt; grandchildren, Michael (LeeAnn), Kristine (Nick) Pierick, Eric (Sarah), and Nicole (Matt) Severson; great-grandchildren, Tori, Taylor, and Donovan, Hunter, Jackson and Ava, and Hailey and Braeden; sisters-in-law, Sharon (Donald) Davis, Devey Lee (Keith) Parman, and Sue Hewitt; brother-in-law, Robert (Betzy Fenne) Hewitt; and a special cousin, Roxcenia Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don; parents; infant brother, David; sister-in-law, Waiva Jean Loy; and brothers-in-law, Keith Loy and Leroy Hewitt. Funeral services will be held at the chapel of ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK, 401 Femrite Drive, Monona, at 10 a.m., on Thursday, March 12, 2015. Burial will follow the service. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., on Wednesday, March 11, 2015.
