I know this is a difficult time for Don's family, but friends, family and God will help you all get through it. I met Don a number of years ago when he used to come to Mel's Radio & TV here in Estherville, IA where a group of friends met and still meet every Saturday morning. Don became a good friend and we often flew a few missions in a C47 transport airplane that he flew during his service in the South Pacific during World War II. He was a good friend and I will always miss him. Richard Hageman

I met Don at the airport many years ago. We had many conversations there and later he started coming to my shop for the Saturday morning coffee group. Don and I shared an interest in computers, in fact the computer I use today was given to me by Don when he had no further use of this older model. We were sad to see Don move away to Wisconsin but knew he'd be close to family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family as we know you will miss him too.
