Arlene was my friend in 7th and 8th grade and into high school. Although she went to Middleton and I went to Wisconsin HIgh we were not able to maintain such a close friendship but we always kept in contact during our high school years. Arlene was always an inspiration to me with her big heart and kind ways with all people(s). I looked up to her as a role model in how to treat others...with love and understanding. We lost physical contact after high school but I learned a great deal from her during our short 'girlfriend' time together. May God hold her in his arms as she returns home. With Fond Memories of a wonderful friend.

My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of lovely Arlene. Her memorial says she handled her cancer with class, dignity and courage. That's the Arlene I remember in high school. She was always classy. God bless her sweet soul.

What a beautiful obituary and beautiful picture of a beautiful lady. I've known Arlene and Bob for most of my life, and you couldn't meet two more loving, thoughtful, giving, kind, fun, couple. My heart goes out to the family, and both Bob and Arlene will dearly missed by many. Rest in peace Arlene and Bob.
