Obituary
MADISON – Florence Wiese-Davidson, age 94, of DeForest, passed away on Feb. 13, 2015, at Artisan Assisted Living. She was born on Feb. 26, 1920, In Moscow Township, the daughter of Bernhardt and Anna (Johnsrude) Peterson. Florence married Hughbert Wiese in November of 1939. In October of 1991, she married Leslie Davidson. Florence ran Red’s Mobile Lunch for 27 years and was named special worker of the month. She liked to play bingo and go camping and was the world’s greatest caregiver. Florence especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by daughters, Shirley (Joe) Rienke and Beverly (Terry) Reynolds; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great- grandchildren; and a brother, Amos (Marie) Peterson. Florence was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Hughbert and Leslie; two daughters, Colene and Marilynn; four grandchildren; 12 siblings; and a son-in-law, Ken Ring. Funeral services will be held at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Rd., Madison, at noon on Monday, Feb. 16, 2015, with Father Randy Timmerman presiding. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Monday. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. As Florence always said, “I gotta go now”. I always enjoyed listening to you telling me about your childhood with my grandma. Will never forget the look on your face at my wedding when my grandma walked in and you asked what she was doing there... Small world her granddaughter marrying your grandson... Will cherish all of the memories and stories.. Love to you and blessed that you are at peace now.. And my prayers to the whole family....

She must have been a very wonderful lady and I know you will all miss her very much. We are so saddened to hear about Florence's passing. We sat with Les and her in the last row at St. Dennis for many years . In fact, for quite awhile after Les's passing we picked her up and drove her to 12:00 O'clock mass. We always had a lot to talk about and had lots of laughs. She cared for her family and was a good grandma and great grandma as well. Happy that we became friends. To Lori and to Shirley, and the whole family, we want you to know that Florence will be in our prayers.
