Caroline: I'm so sorry to hear of Frank's passing. Had no idea it was coming. I'm sorry I can't be at the visitation as I have 4-6 more weeks at Oakwood East Rehab trying to heal a broken leg and a re-done hip replacement. My thoughts are with you and yours and wish you the best.

Dear Caroline and Veserat families,
We are so sorry to hear of Frank's passing. It wasn't long after we moved onto Progressive 13 years ago that we met Frank as he rode by on his bicycle. And during those years, Frank was always quick with a helping hand, a funny joke, or sharing music from his collection of Dixieland bands. It was right after our first "Monona 4th of July" that Frank said "I think your house would look better with that big tree out of the way" and proceeded to gather up his boys and take it down for us. (Not without the briefest moment of panic) And when we started our "hedge removal project," Frank was eager to wrap the chain around them and pull them out with his van. Many warm summer days Frank would pull up in his Van, and call me over to listen to a great bass player thumping away on some Dixie music while sharing his most recent travel stories. We even got a phone call one night telling us to turn on the radio because the River Walk Jazz program was airing). We are richer for having known him and even though we mourn his passing, we are left with countless memories of a neighbor and friend.
God's Peace
