KAIL, ROBERT J. “BOBBIE KAIL” MADISON–Robert J. “Bobbie” Kail, age 73, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015. He was born on Nov. 22, 1941, in Muscoda, the son of Steven W. and Maxine M. (Richardson) Kail. He and Fayth Carpenter were married on June 20, 1964, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Madison. On 07/07/70 their son, Ronald J. “Ronnie Kail” was born. Bobbie attended Franklin Grade School, and graduated from Central High School in 1959. He then went on to graduate from MATC in both their barbering program and apprenticeship painting program. Bobbie was a kind and giving man. He helped whenever and wherever he could, which led to him earning the nickname “9-1-1 Bob”. Bobbie enjoyed trips on his Goldwing; and Bob and Fayth enjoyed spending winters at their Florida home with their wonderful neighbors and friends. He was a loving and dedicated husband and father. Bobbie is survived by his wife, Fayth; brother, David (Chris) Kail, sister, Maxine (Mike) Brennan; sister-in-law, Shirley Younger-Meinzer; three grandchildren of the heart, Sheree, Trichele, and Ericka; one great-grandson, Grayson; and 15 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ronald; and sister, Pat (Leon) Bartle. A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 1 p.m., on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, with the Rev. Jeff Vanden Heuvel presiding. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to all of their wonderful family and friends; especially “Rexer” and “Barbie”. Thank you to the staff of St. Mary’s Hospital for all of their care and support, especially Dr. Kostelyna and Heartland Hospice. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
