Robert George Angell

Angell, Robert “Bob” MADISON – Robert “Bob” Angell, age 73, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, at Agrace HospiceCare. He was born on June 6, 1941, in Madison, at St. Mary’s Hospital, the son of William and Gladys (Steensrud) Angell. Bob graduated from East High School in 1960. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. Upon returning from service duty, Bob worked for MG&E for over 35 years as an accountant. Bob enjoyed bowling, golfing and playing cards with friends. He was a dedicated Packers, Brewers and Badger’s fan. Bob is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Chad) Coogan; granddaughter, Madison Rae Coogan; grandsons, Tyler Patrick Coogan and Miles George Coogan; sisters, Helen (Bob) Lovick, Rose (Harold) McGrew, Jeri (Chris) Pancratz and Kathy Angell; former wife, Sandy R. Angell; several nieces and nephews; and his special cousin, Mark “Dick” Tiedeman. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; step mother, Mary; and sister, Susan Saeian. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015, with the Rev. Paula Harris presiding. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Sunday. The family would like to thank Agrace HospiceCare for their care and compassion.
