Neupert, Robert “Bob” MADISON– Robert “Bob” Neupert, age 85, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015, at Agrace HospiceCare. He was born on July 22, 1929, in London, Wis., the son of Ross and Margaret Neupert. Bob served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. This past September, Bob was able to go on the Badger Honor Flight to Washington D.C. That was a highlight of his year. Bob worked for the Jewel Tea Company as a route salesman for 35 years and for Klinke Cleaners for 15 years. He reluctantly retired at 75 years old due to health concerns. Bob enjoyed talking to everyone, including strangers, much to the embarrassment of his children at times. Bob is survived by Marie, his wife of 64 years; his children, Barbara (David) Greathouse of Sun Prairie, Patricia Lashore of Madison, Jeanne Mack of Minneapolis, Minn., David (Kerry) of Madison, and James (Candy) of Cairo. Ga.; six grandchildren, D’Angelo, Anthony, Maria, Marissa, Logan and Taylor; two great-grandchildren, Cyrus and Hazel; sister, Marlene Evenson of Cambridge; sisters-in-law, Lila Spangler and Mary Marty of Madison; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Ruth Woods; brothers-in-law, Ralph “Gene” Woods, Harry Spangler and Frederick “Fricky” Marty; and nephew, Richard Woods. A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 9, 2015. A funeral service will be held at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK –CHAPEL at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015 with Rev. Phil Haslanger presiding.
