Timothy James Dedeyne

MADISON-Timothy James DeDeyne, age 47, passed away on Monday, Jan. 19, 2015 at Meriter Hospital in Madison. He was born on December 1, 1967 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Racine, the son of Charles and Carol (King) DeDeyne. Tim took advantage of every educational and self-development program receiving his GED and then tutoring other to do the same while incarcerated. He also attended MATC desiring a diploma in Human Services so he could more effectively help others. Fishing, reading, writing poetry, spending time with Jesus and telling others about him were his favorite activities. He attended Bethel Lutheran Church and Chapel Valley Community Church. Tim loved nature and animals but he had a special passion for people and touched many lives sharing all he could with his friends, family and strangers too. Tim is survived by his son Luke Gerry and Luke’s mother, Peta of Madison; his siblings, Randy (Judy) DeDeyne of Grand Rapids, MN, and Debbie (Bryan) Dersien, Carolyn DeDeyne and Charles DeDeyne all of Racine. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Services will be held at BETHEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 312 Wisconsin Ave., Madison at 6 PM on Saturday, January 31, 2015, with Pastor Alison Williams presiding.
