Randall Lawrence Hynes

Hynes, Randall L. OREGON/CUBA CITY-Randall L. Hynes, age 62, of Oregon, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was born on Nov. 26, 1952, in Hazel Green, the son of Lawrence Hynes. Randall married Julie Gundlach on Dec. 1, 1973, in Cuba City. He attended school in Cuba City and Southwest Tech in Fennimore. They moved to Oregon where Randall was employed with the Village of Oregon with the water department, retiring in 2012. He was a former union representative for AFSCME for many years. Randall enjoyed hunting, fishing and blackjack, and was an avid Badgers, Packers and Cardinals fan. His greatest enjoyment was being with his family but, most especially his grandchildren. Randall is survived by his wife, Julie; children, Travis (Kayla) Hynes of Montfort, James (Charity) Hynes of Brooklyn, and Wendy (Jessica Kjellstrom) Hynes of Stoughton; four grandchildren, Sierra, Kenzie, Hayden, and Chloe; brother, Rick (Karin) Hynes of Oregon; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Marcene and Charles Gundlach. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL HOME, 1150 Park St., Oregon, at 11 a.m., on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015. Burial will be at Rock Church Cemetery in Livingston. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
