Mary Louise Niesen

MIDDLETON-Mary L. Niesen, age 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Agrace HospiceCare, Fitchburg. She was born on February 23, 1943, in Madison, the daughter of Wienand and Lorraine (Nonn) Brabender. Mary loved puzzles and playing cards with her euchre partners at the Voss Haus but especially treasured the many friends she made over the years at the Hody Bar in Middleton. She is survived by her children, Janet (Steve) Miller, Corinna (John) Schmitz, Richard Niesen, DeAnn (Jerry) Mohoney, Randy (Michele) Niesen and Russell (Bonnie) Niesen; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Susan Acker, Barb Ziegler and Theresa (Linus) Ballweg and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and brothers-in-law, Edward Acker and Vern Ziegler. A Celebration of Life and sharing of memories will be held at the Hody Bar & Grill, 1914 Aurora St., Middleton from 5 PM until 8 PM on Tuesday, January 13, 2015. A Memorial Mass will be held at ST.PETER’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7125 County Trunk K, Ashton at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, with Father Brian Dulli presiding. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery.
