Robert Dale Scott

MIDDLETON/CHICAGO, ILL./MESA. AZ.-Robert Dale Scott, age 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. He was born on September 14, 1927 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Guy and Isabelle (Bender) Scott. Robert was united in marriage to Elizabeth “Libby” Otto on September 11, 1948 in Saginaw and together they raised three sons. After graduating from Arthur Hill High School in 1946, he enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served his country in Italy for over two years. Robert and Libby moved to Chicago, where he found his career in photography owning his own studio in food photography for many major food companies. In 1965, Bob and Libby bought a 150 acres farm retreat in Sabin, Wis. After retirement in 1985 they moved to Mesa, Arizona where they spent 21 years before moving to Middleton in 2010. His passion was sports cars and traveling but he truly treasured most the time with his family especially his grandchildren. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Libby; his sons, Craig of Phoenix and his children, Brian (Tanya) and Jenny (C.J.), Gary of Madison and his children, Jerid (Sheryl) and their son Austin, Courtney, step-son Ben (Sara) Bradon; Kenneth (Debra) and their daughter, Tammy; a sister Lois (Al) Pruss and many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brother Harold, sister-in-law, Mary and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Scott. Funeral services will be held at ST. LUKE’S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7337 Hubbard Ave., Middleton at 4:30 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2015 with the Reverend Heather Hayward presiding with military rites to follow. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 3:00 PM until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
