Natalie Francis Abeyta

Abeyta, Natalie Francis MADISON–Natalie Francis Abeyta, age 78, of Madison, passed away on Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at home, surrounded by her family. She was born on March 10, 1936, in Halstead, Kan., the daughter of Mario and Ascension (Sifuentez) Soto. She married Ernest Smile Abeyta in 1955 and renewed their vows on April 3, 1999, at Immaculate Heart of Mary. Natalie was a devoted mother and grandmother and treasured time spent with family. She is survived by her sons, John (Gale Darnell) Abeyta and Robert (Eva) Abeyta; daughters, Sally (Jose) Abeyta-Martinez, Roxanne Abeyta, Cecelia Abeyta and Crystal Abeyta; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-granchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest; sons, Casey and Walter; daughter, Mary Standfast; and grandson, Brayden Turnbill. Funeral services will be held at IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5101 Schofield St., Monona, at 11:30 a.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015, with Father John Silva presiding. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, and at the chuch from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.
