Obituary
McFARLAND – Harold R. Anderson, age 62, passed away on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at the UW Hospital with his loving family at his side. Harold was the youngest child born to Ruth and Carl Anderson on June 8, 1952. He grew up in the Windsor/DeForest area, graduating from DeForest High School. In 1975 he married his best friend and life-long love, Nancy Bowers and together they raised three children. He worked as a warehouse supervisor most of his life, most recently at Midwest Refrigerated Services in McFarland. His true happiness came from spending time with his family, watching the Packers and working in his yard, mowing and mowing and mowing. Harold is survived by his wife, Nancy; sons, Brian (Amy Barringer) and Brad (Heather); daughter, Cyndi Anderson (Jimmy Mack); his four little loves, Devin Grob, Jaylyn Mack, Lydia and Wesley Harold Anderson; sister, Ruth (LeRoy) Camren; brother, James (Ronda) Anderson; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Norma Nelson and Lois Warren; brother, Bob; mother-in-law, Janet Brewer; and his beloved dog, Jake. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at Noon on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the wonderful staff at MRS and Ken and Jane Bowers for all their love and support during this very difficult time. There was no better man on this planet. He will be truly missed by so many. Harold, I was the luckiest of all to have called you my husband, “twice”. Nancy, Brian, Brad & Cyndi
He is in a better place right now
Than he is ever been before;
All pain is gone; he is now at rest;
Nothing troubles him anymore.
It’s we who feel the burden of
Our sadness and our grief;.
We have to cry, to mourn our loss,
Before we get relief.
We know we’ll reconnect with him
At the end of each life’s road;
We’ll see his cherished face again
When we release our earthly load.
He will raise you up on eagle's wings,
Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun
And hold you in the palm of His Hand
Gone from our sight, but never our memories.
Gone from our touch, but never our hearts.
He Shall be greatly missed
My sincere sympathy
