John David Garvoille

Garvoille, John D. COTTAGE GROVE - John D. Garvoille, age 46, of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at UW Hospital. He was born on July 13, 1968, in Madison, the son of David Garvoille and Dolores Dushack. He is a 1986 graduate of Monona Grove High School. John earned degrees in Marketing and Insurance from MATC. He worked as a claims adjuster for 15 years at First Auto and Casualty. John is survived by his wife, Lisa Schroeder and son, Colton of Cottage Grove; his mother, Dolores Dushack of Cottage Grove; his sister, Julia (Josh) Larkosh and nephews, James, Joseph and Jacob of DeForest; mother-in-law, Diann Stong of Monona; sister-in-law, Terri (Sean) Connery and nieces, Alysha Nelson and Hailey Birch of McFarland; father-in-law, Rick (Paula) Schroeder of Fort Atkinson; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. John was preceded in death by his father; his maternal grandparents, Ervin and Leontine Dushack; paternal grandparents, Vincent Sr. and Luella Garvoille; and uncle, Russell Dushack. A memorial service will be held at ST. PATRICK CATHOLIC CHURCH, 434 N. Main St., Cottage Grove, at Noon, on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
