Obituary
Grady, Janet Marie (Reynolds)
STOUGHTON -Janet Marie (Reynolds) Grady, died unexpectedly in a car accident, on Friday, Dec. 12, 2014. She was born on Feb. 6, 1959, the daughter of Darrell and Delores (Godding) Reynolds. She married Gordon, the love of her life on Oct. 14, 1994. Together they raised two beautiful children, Megan and Alex. Janet was an avid reader and crossword puzzler. She enjoyed camping, scrapbooking, and making cards. Janet was full of life and saw the beauty in everyone. Due to her 32 years of being a teacher at Red Caboose Daycare, Janet saw the world through child-like eyes. She was quirky, reliable, and loved her “kids”. As much as they meant to her, family was her world. She is survived by her loving husband, Gordon; two children, Megan and Alex; beloved sisters, Carole Reynolds (John Alford) and Kathy Wollschlager; father-in-law, Allen Grady; sisters-in-law, Annette (Butch) Wilber and Pam (Jay) Weatherwax; brothers-in-law, Daniel (Shannon) Grady, Chris (Lori) Grady and Allen (Lisa) Grady; and many nieces and nephews. Janet was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law, Lenore Grady; and brother-in-law, Marty Wollschlager. Funeral Services will be held at ALL SAINTS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2951 Chapel Valley Rd, Fitchburg, at 1 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, with the Rev. Richard Johnson presiding. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON FITCHBURG FUNERAL HOME, 2950 Chapel Valley Rd., Fitchburg, from 4 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, and at the church, from noon until the time of service on Friday. I am so saddened that this has happened to such a sweet, kind, loving person. My heart is breaking for her and for everyone who knew and loved her. I am so glad I had a chance to get to know her better and become friends with her but sad it was because of the loss of her mom and dad that brought us back into contact with each other after so many years. Now she is with them again and what a beautiful reunion that must have been for them. We sure will miss her.

Janet's greatest joy was her family, I know her proudest accomplishments are her children because she talked about you all every day I worked with her. I loved how Janet read stories, and how she was so good at explaining the world to young children. In thinking of Janet's love of her family, I remember one of her favorite books "The Kissing Hand" by Audrey Penn. May you find comfort in your memories. Thinking of you with big warm hugs. -Karen
